These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roshi mobile app (“App”). By using Roshi, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Roshi is provided for personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You agree to use the app lawfully and responsibly.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Roshi on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable platform rules.
4. Health / Wellness Disclaimer
Roshi is a mindfulness and wellness app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek professional medical advice for health concerns.
5. Optional Health Features
Roshi may integrate with Apple Health if you opt in. You control Health permissions through iOS/Health settings. Disabling permission may limit related features.
6. In-App Purchases / Tips
Roshi may offer optional in-app tipping via Apple In-App Purchases. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Except where required by law or Apple policy, purchases may be non-refundable.
7. Third-Party Services
Roshi may rely on Apple platform services (including HealthKit and StoreKit) and any linked external websites. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our control.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
- Use the app to violate law or infringe rights
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
9. App Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roshi is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data/profits arising from app use.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the app at any time.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
